You will run site orientations, permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout, lifting and working-at-height controls, contractor safety management, and incident reporting — with the authority to stop work that is not safe.
Safety before schedule is a company principle. This role is where it is enforced.
Responsibilities
- Run site orientations and daily hazard identification
- Administer permit-to-work and lockout/tagout systems
- Oversee lifting operations and working-at-height controls
- Manage contractor safety compliance on site
- Lead incident reporting, investigation, and emergency-response readiness
Requirements
- Three years or more in construction or electrical site safety
- Recognized HSE qualification (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)
- Experience around generators, switchgear, and live electrical work
- Confident stopping work and explaining why
- Available for site assignments
